Totally agree with you Ryan, except I want my 43 seconds back. I could not make it farther than that.

Keith, Be watching your email, apparently you need something to do, so I give you something to do.:)

I need something to do? Look, I've got two kayaks, some old furniture, and a jet ski. I think I can make some magic happen. Drink some cheap beer, put on the '80s hair band metal, and utter the phrase "Hey y'all, watch this!". Hilarity ensues...

I'm really surprised none of our designers have jumped to design a formula class around this concept!

Sailing is intrinsically boring. And all those negative ions washing over you tend to make you sleepy. So it is obvious that designers purposely make the seating uncomfortable for crew members. A couch would be a disaster. I would be asleep on it in an instant and would not wake up until I hit some land mass or other immovable object.

I believe we should immediately spawn off the Formula Loveseat Class, it should be like the Formula Couch but with a smaller furniture base that can be used to promote a youth class, with the resultant path to the full Formula Couch participation. Does anybody here know what kids these days like when it comes to floating furniture?

Do not forget the Queen Ann Formula Class for the single handed boats.
And for the office(Dilbert)Class, your favorite office chair from Haworth, Herman Miller, or Steelcase.

Maybe then my company (Haworth) would throw some sponsership money my way.

This must be a litmus test for white trash genes. I want one!! Full formula mode; carbon hulls and crossbeams, Honda gen set, plasma TV, stereo, mini-fridge AND blender. Of course, needs to be towed by a 40' Hinckley or similar, driven by Britney Spears (we're talking RICH white trash).

Imagine how that couch is gonna smell in a couple of weeks :-)

Can we have a recliner division of the class? I want the one with the cooler in one armrest and a hidden compartment in the other that houses the remote control that handles the tiller and sail controls. Ya know? this might just work!
