I found the last 20mins of the French/NZ game riveting and I don't even like the game. If it is all played like that I should watch it more.

This rugby WC has (IMO) done the sport the world of good. It is a fantastic game; flowing, grunty, scary and so good to watch.

yes there have been some one sided games, but even so the "minnows" have played very well.

Nooo!!!! My hopes of an upset have been shattered.

What I love about Rugby is that it is the only game where a group of men hunt in a pack. Slowly they are being speyed with rucking going by the boards and for whatever reason the scrums being sujected to crazy rules.
Also they way it is set at present sees everyone with a role if they be big, small or tall.
With rules changing it will end up with all loose forward style bodies and lose it's reall attraction to everyman.

Yeah, it can't end up like rugby league is now. Scrums serve no purpose.

I'd really like to see field goals be fewer points, or tries be more points. England have beaten us in two worlds cups now without scoring a friggin' try!!! They can't play rugby, they don't need to, just milk penalties and defend one man who can kick. It's butt backwards and extremely frustrating!

Thats got to be a pissed off Aussie supporter, being one of the 59110 supporters in the stadium, it was a fair cop and the Aussies were done for. A really good game to be there and the atmosphere in both the stadium and out side was amazing only to be bettered at 10.30 local time when the French went absolutely potty. Grrrrrreat stuff.

What about the Irish who had tickets because they had hoped that their team would be there - and they just went anyway. You could hear "The Fields of Athenry" being sung all through the match.
