For downloading, just plug it in via USB and you whould be able to see it as a seperate external drive???

Windows Movie Maker is pretty simple. Just play with it for a while, make a couple of different versions of the same thing.

The only thing I don't like about WMM is that it doesn't save to MPEG4 format. Which is what you need to load it onto an iPod. iPods do really well when plugged into a TV btw.

All of these were made with WMM, and a GoPro Hero3

Try Videora iPod Converter. It's free and will convert just about any video into mpeg4 for your ipod.

I use windows Movie Maker as well. Adobe Premier is the other option, but it is very expensive.
