Millions of Australians old enough would remember exactly where they were and what they did on that famous day 25 years ago. As significant in my mind as 9/11 or Armstrong's first step on the moon. To come from 1-3 down and then trailing on that last downwind leg, all seemed lost. But we won. An upstart little country beat the wealth and rules of the NY Yacht Club. It was a fantastic feeling.

Thanks for posting that, funny how small the world is. I remember rushing home from grade school at the age of 9. Turnning on the TV just in time to see the pass. Good stuff.
