New Hobie Wild Cat F18 is on sale

Finally the new Hobie F18 is on sale.
First deliveries at the end of March.
The new boat is quite pricey at EUR 19,800 VAT included.
For sale outside the Euro Zone the quotation is EUR 16,500 ( USD 20,790).

Different price for outside the EU apparently.

They have Value Added Tax (VAT) of about 20%.

How VAT Works

Doesn't get charged if you bring it to the US. You'll still have to pay sales / use tax to get it registered in your state.

Yep.
No exact date on delivery yet though.

Would anyone actually want to buy one? maybe its just me but I hate buying the first of anything... better to let some one else find and fix all the problems and go in for the second generation.

With all the discussion on the cost of the new Wildcat, here is something to compare it to.
