The only place I've seen open water has been in the smaller rivers. I'd bet the mississippi is starting to open up too. Only six more weeks and it'll be sailing season again around here.

I hear you. The rivers have opened up, but as of last weekend, there was still 24" of ice on Winnebago. They're still driving full size trucks on it! I like winter, but come on already!!!

Ice clogged rivers?!?!?!?!? The only place I have ever seen ice is in my rum and coke!

What is this river thing you speak of? The only river I've seen on Maui is River Tam and she wasn't clogged with ice.

Ummm Dude looks like a Lady!

Stunt coordinator who choreographed the famous (among geeks like me) fight seen at the Maidenhead bar in the movie "Serenity." See the flick and marvel at the grace of River Tam (played by actress Summer Glau). Watching the choreographer is almost like watching a clunky robot in comparison, but it is still a cool behind-the-scenes look at how the scene was laid out.

Only chicks can pull off a scorpion kick.

Summer was on The Big Bang Theory two weeks ago. She was riding on a train and being hit on by Howard.

Holy crap, we've hit a new low. Firefly is my favorite show of all time. I can't believe it never caught on.

My favorite line:

cracks me up. The last episode, and the one where everyone but Mal abandons ship are my two favorites.
