border run - 03/31/09 11:44 PM

nice steady trickle of beachcats entering along with lots of fast multis. Wondering if any of the beachcats can handle the new multi 23 boat-for-boat? Seems like Lee Wicklund thinks he can be first to finish on a N20... Check out the entry list and get on it www.theborderrun.org it's gonna rock

The Wet Kitty Catamaran club from arizona will be well represented at the Border Run with the Wet Kitty and the Wild Kitty entered. I hope to see more beachcats out there. I guess i may have to settle with 2nd place if Lee shows up with an N-20. Thats nothing a good pickle fork wont cure.
Lee, are you wearing a wet suit or a dry suit? I havent sailed off the left coast and really dont know what to expect. I was stationed at pendleton 20 years ago and remember the water being so cold it felt like I was on fire till I went numb. You spoke of chillys from west marine before, is that something you wear with a wet or dry suit?

Anyways, c'mon all you beachcatters, lets go have a kick butt time!!

If you got a drysuit, I't wear it. The Hot Chilli's are under garments from West Marine. I'm not going to be able to make it due to having to go off shore. Matt Morris should be comming with his Tiger from Camp Verde.

I used to think of Lee as a man's man, a macho man, a real American hero. I'm very disappointed and depressed to discover that he's nothing but a little clucking chicken. Cluck, cluck. I will have to drink even more than usual at the post race party to drown my sorrows. waaaaaaaaaaaa...
