Sakonnet Challenge Regatta - RI

Great show for the first full on regatta of the Northeast F18 series sponsored by Narraganset Beer.
11 F18s, 7 infusions and 4 Nacra F18s
5 races sailed today. First race in fairly light northerly that died then gave way to a southerly halfway through the race.
The southerly seabreeze brought in 12-15 knots that lasted for the rest of the day to make for some excellent racing.
Tight racing, especially for the top 6 infusions.

2 more races today. Morning rain caused a late start and the seabreeze decided not to come in until right after we got off the water.
Congrats to Mike and Tripp who sailed a great regatta winning 5 of 7 races.
