Wow...

I nominate ewindsail for the award of top promotional officer in the USA this year! He is getting it done!

I think the months and months of your efforts promoting the Racine Catamaran Championships has been the best we have seen in years! Stamina indeed.... I agree... you must be dead if you haven't heard of these Championships.

We should recognize that as this event evolved into the Racine Catamaran Championship you have transcended the usual manufacturer BS which balkanized our niche of the sport. It is an outstanding development for the USA and clearly puts the sailors first! Congratulations as well to the builders who have decided to go along with your program.

In the middle of the great recession.... 50 boats for the F18 Fleet is outstanding. Good turnouts in the other classes as well.

We need to go to school on what you and your club has accomplished. You guys need to share with the world just how you have pulled this off so that other clubs can follow your lead!

Congratulations! Hopefully the weather gods reward you and your club's dedication with great breeze for the championships!

Thanks for the kundo’s but this is about CRAW wanting to host an event that you will walk away from and say that this was the best regatta you have ever attended. The venue is excellent, the sailing will be great and the parties will be "EPIC”
Like I said before if you have not heard of this regatta you must be dead. If you know someone that is on the fence give them a call and push, poke or threaten them that this is one that they will not want to miss!!!!

I know I know but I just have to get this out. You now have two days left before the late fee of $100.00 kicks in. If you are sitting on the fence and not sure if you are going to be able to make it remember that your entry is refundable up to July 31.

Re: 2 days left Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/12/10 01:45 PM

I just sailed at one of the CRAW regattas and was privy to listen to some of the preparations going on for the NAs. and I have to say that these guys are really serious about putting on the best NAs the F18 class has seen. It is impressive to see that they are working overtime to iron out every little detail to give the sailors best possible experience from the moment they roll in through the end.

Looking forward to it. Competition is gonna be good....

Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/12/10 06:34 PM

OK good job on getting your payments in. Went from 21 pending down to 14 boats. As stated above CRAW is going all out to make sure that everyone who attends will have a good (make that a great) experience at this regatta If you are still on the fence look at the registration list and I'm sure you will see that the competition will be excellent. PS we got lots of great stuff from our sponsors for the raffle and auction smile

Woopsie. Never was the best speller.

Here's what I'm getting at with my question. I may have an opening in my schedule and could possibly come up there and do some live feed for SA.

Re: Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/14/10 12:39 AM

If you're there, I'm gonna press you into BIMBO duty. I have no idea who the mark boat drivers are yet.

Re: Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/14/10 01:24 AM

You know my 'fee' Mr. Bounds.

I could earn my next Bimbo Rank.

Re: Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/14/10 01:33 AM

Hope you get there for the Internet hookup. Could put the F18 worlds to shame and have most of the world watching the US sailing. That would be amusing...wouldn't it?

Re: Racine Catamaran Championship 2010 - 07/14/10 01:39 AM

If I get internet connectivity, Dan, it is seriously Game On! Still negotiating politics, financing and whatnot.

It would be cool to see you make it J...your SA reporting is great. I'm sure Matt won't hurt you too bad.
