GULF YACHTING ASSOCIATION MULTIHULL CHAMPIONSHIP - 07/19/10 07:06 PM

The Gulf Yachting Association (GYA) Multihull Championship will be held September 25-26 at Pontchartrain Yacht Club on Lake Pontchartain in Mandeville, LA. It is open to all sailors regardless of whether they are a member of a GYA club. This is an annual event that last year featured 17 beach cats and 7 PHRF multihulls. This year, we really want to encourage attendance from Texas to Florida and especially to encourage one design fleets for F-16, F-18, and A-Class which seem to be the most popular in this area. This year, four boats of any class will get separate one design scoring in addition to the open perpetual and GYA club team trophies that are an annual part of this event.

We will have an online website up and running next week and hope you all will take a look at your calenders and see if you can visit our beautiful Lake Pontchartrain in late September for a great weekend of sailing.

Is there a NOR? I can't make it due to a previous committment but I'll see that the F16 class members receive it.

Thanks.
