I think the easiest thing to do is to make your own.

I like the square boat fenders found at West Marine, with bungees through the holes and around the hull. Not cheap, but easy and will last a long time.

I've made a few sets out of fiberglass and foam, hard to do and lots of work to get them right.

Pool noodles are another easy choice.

Big chunks of outdoor foam works good too, closes cell and used to make boat cushions, can be found at the places that make boat covers and such.

Actually, I'm selling them now.

$80/pair + shipping - 4 1/2" thick closed cell acoustical foam. Super durable, UV resistant, etc.

I have templates for F18, F20c, A-cat, etc.

Here's a pic - http://www.sailmax.biz/images/hullchocks.jpg

email me for details - mike at sailmax dot biz

John made mine and did a great job and the price was fair.

I thought Tomko said he'd never make another pair... cost of materials and labor made the margin unsustainable. Mike's price is a steal; the closed cell foam ain't cheap.

Yo! You need to answer my email Mr. Williams.

I got my arm twisted and I am still making Chocks. I didn't buy an ad here so I will leave it at that.

Later,

Ah. Advertising works! Basic is great. Don't have to be sensational.

Otherwise, a buyer wracks his brain trying to find something and ends up buying boat fenders...

Secretive bunch... cat owners are a secretive bunch... don't got nothin to say... don't tell nothin... mumble mumble mumble... Now, if these were bass boat people! WE GOT CHOCKS TO SELL YA! But nooooooooooooooooo grin
