Bill Baggs on Key Biscayne? Good Luck. They will arrest you if you touch the shoreline.

Suggestion regarding Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park from Michael Peteler of

pompaqno beach, FL

Response Requested!

Beach Catamaran Storage Sailing is a completely eco friendly sport. There is however a serious shortage of locations to keep them on beaches. I think Floridas Parks Beaches and Sailing Beach Catamarans are a perfect match and a possible source of revenue for the State Parks. The sight of Sails on the water is pleasing to the eye, noise free, emission free there is no downside please consider this suggestion. there are a number of State Parks that could benifet from this.

I don't need storage there, but you can add me to a list of probable visitors if access is available.

http://www.floridastateparks.org/capeflorida/

they list boat camping and group camping as activities. Sounds like a neat place to visit if launching access is available.

Sadly I got the epic fail phone call today. They were positive about a rental concession (which I have no Interest in) But no to private boat storage frown I will continue the good fight But on the Bayside where the nesting Turtles are not a concern.

I was looking on google earth and it looks like there are launching ramps, possibly for kayaks or canoes that would be suitable for beach cats.
