I couldn't get online payment to work - unlike steeplechase, the payment link took me to what appeared to be a blank item. Below had options for additional t-shirt and the previous steeplechase registration "product"....I couldn't find the Tradewinds product.

No problem, Jake. I actuallly would prefer pmt at site. Have received several payments, however. Don't know what the problem could be. Will look into it

Is anyone else having trouble getting in touch with reservations at the Islander? I've called 5 times, been transferred to someone who isn't there, get their voicemail, left three messages over three days, and have yet to talk with anyone that can make a reservation.

This happened to me last time I stayed there - I must be doing something wrong.

I had no issues. Maybe they just don't like you.

Also remember that Tradewinds is Saturday through Monday this year! (I almost screwed that up ... thankfully my crew had my back).

no. Boat is already down there and I can't tow two back. Trying to save up some vacation time this year too.

Andi and I (F16) will be rolling in Thursday night about 10pm, staying at the Sunset (Mangrove Mike's) across the street from the Islander. Anyone going out for practice on Friday, about 2pm?

We're up the road at Lookout Lodge (after a week of trying to get a reservation at the Islander, I finally got hold of someone and they didn't have any rooms left...I should have been more persistent). We'll probably get everything together for a short sail on Friday but will be more focused on saving all our good moves for Sat. through Monday.

A front will be passing Naples on Friday bringing temperatures to the frigid 70's (F)

What this SHOULD mean in the Keys is clear skies, a nice breeze on Saturday and Sunday, and temps around 75-ish?

First, I never put any thought into a forecast that's more than 24 hours out (unless it's something like a hurricane). Second, if we do have a light air day with shortened racing, PLEASE let it be Sunday so I can see the Falcon's game kick off at 3pm.
