I hope you guys tied your boats down last night! Tornados in Sarasota took out houses and killed a couple. Supposed to be gusting 30-40 today, any damage down there? And any racing results from yesterday posted anywhere?

It blew 35-40 all day on Friday at the Islander. Made it real fun dropping the masts and loading the trailer for the A-Class boats...

OUCH! So I'm guessing nobody went out on Friday, but was there racing on Saturday? It was beautiful 200 miles north of Key Largo yesterday, but kinda light wind. Today is making up for that though! My front yard looked like a war zone this morning after that squall line went through at 3am. Broken tree branches down all over the place. At least the roof stayed on.

Saturday was delightful, with 8 mph winds. Spin course got in 4 races, and Wave & 16 course got in 5..
Abandoned Sunday with 25, gusts to 35 off shore. Starting early today in winds 10-12.
Life is good

It moved my boat/trailer across the parking lot. Not bad for 2800# loaded. Flipped over two small airplanes next door at the airport. I guess they weren't tied down?
Good to hear that PRO abandoned racing. Balancing the competitiveness vs. the capabilities of the sailors/boats can be tough.

Sorry for the delay. Mary was rushed to emergency with chest pains. Will get results up today late.
