A pair of F16's grace this morning's newspaper.
The organizer is one of their former editors.
Yesterday started overcast and then turned sunny upper 70's, but little wind.
Probably more of the same today.
And a pleasure to say Good Morning to Dave Ingram. He's probably happy with his result.
Thank all of you that came.

How was the Tribute to Rick?

https://www.regattatech.com/scoring...e=CharlotteHarbor17&divisionName=all Jack, it's always nice chatting with you, we had another great time at Charlotte Harbor and I really enjoy downtown Punta Gorda! Huge thank you to John Bauldry, Dan Borge and Jeff Rehm for making long drive to join us, we are looking forward to Caseville assuming I can talk my skipper into it.
I'm also a fan of the modified trapezoid, it's a different look and relieves the congestion with other fleets.

Trapezoids are awesome. You get to reach as well! They certainly add to the difficulty for the RC (more marks, etc.), but are so much better for racing mixed fleets.

There are more "to the tops" than spam posts, btw.

I don't think so,...check further down the board. I pushed down 17 spam posts. Before I started posting "...to the top" the 1st page was nearly all spam. Any newcomers would have skipped us! Its a temporary fix, but at least it buys some extra time.
So what can others do? -Simple, just post a little bit more during this crisis, while long term solutions eventually develop. Aggressive critisisms are unneeded, but offers to help by those in the know may be helpful.

Why not post actual content instead?

I didn't realize there was THAT much spam...that would be a different scenario.

Trapezoids are awesome we do them at the Nationals for Nacra 5.8s two years ago there were 24 Nacra 5.8s on the first reach in 20 to 25 kts, the noise and spray was incredible, it looked like we pushed so much water out of the way that we'd made a trench in the ocean
