suffering withdrawls in the great white north

suffering withdrawls in the great white north - 12/03/02 01:30 AM

I'm sure i'll get some "heat" for this, but here goes....

It's 15 degrees & snowing here in MI.

I have been unsuccessfully trying to find a picture of a cat with a bikini perched on it to download as wallpaper. No bikinis here until at least May (if we're lucky), and we'll only get the hulls wet a little earlier than that.

I will confess that i am guilty of not having the foresight to have taken my own pics, as i have lived here long enough to know that it gets cold in the winter and we have to put our toys away for a while.

any help out there?

Dude,
Kudos on a most triumphant picture. Even though this beauty isn't straddling a cat, it's good enough. Wish they all could be California girls....

Here in Ca, we have pros and cons to living here, but it is possible to sail year round if you have a good wet-suit.

OK! One more. This one has a catamaran in it. Maybe if I post enough of these bikini girls I'll graduate from novice poster!

I wish my wife would tell me when she poses for these shots.

Ok, maybe I'm weird or something, but does anyone notice the apparent use of the fake-and-bake?

Sorry for objectifying women. At least I'm aware of it

Hi,

OK, enough with the eye candy; this is part of the problem concerning the doldrums of winter. If you don't have a hard-body on your tramp it good to wish such things, it only serves to depress more; my first mate is attached with winter attire. A more provocative pose will be forthcoming upon launch of Surfergirl.

It is not the weather but frame of mind. Please as the winter deepens remember us of beach residence, this is true torture concerning the depression that will soon set in. This morning sun is bright with a 20-mph wind and about 20 degrees. This is biting cold.

See the following beach club, which is only 500 ft from my house. See the cam truly torture for any summer lover.

Please see suggestions on how to defeat until the rays of summer come back.

1: Have a barbecue (more people the better) with a summer theme, turn up the thermostat to 80 for bathing suits and fire up some meat (1 of pork, chicken and beef), drink some summer drinks (beer, pina colada's or simply rum in cokes) with music, and Walla the summer spirit is on hand.
2: Attend any summer oriented concerts (Jimmy Buffet / Beach Boys). Our New Years Party Club is going to have a tropical theme.
3: Enjoy a walk on winter days in which temps rise, especially in sunshine.
4: Buy your boat parts, they are cheap during this season.
5: Chat online with other Hobie lovers, especially in Hawaii or SW islands.
6: Attend sailing classes, a great way to network especially with newbies.

Any NJ shore people want to party the New Years night.

Mike

Yup. It's winter. Lookin at a temp of 13 degrees at the moment.

But . . . . . the powder is dry and deep. Got some first tracks after continuous snowfall through the turkey day weekend. Free-heeling through the deep white stuff is just as heavenly as flying a hull above the Caribbean blue. (I'm sure some of you will disagree )

Pardon my ignorance. What is fake and bake?

I think the correct term is "fake bake". It refers to people with fake looking suntans.

Re: suffering withdrawls in the great white north - 12/04/02 01:31 PM

Or, perhaps, could the term be in referrence to a combination of the tanning booth and an artificially enhanced shape?

Re: suffering withdrawls in the great white north - 12/04/02 02:40 PM

Its the term we around campus give to the sorority girls lined up in front of the tanning salon every morning.

Usually, its out the door.
