Due to a permitting issue, we have move the location of the June 21, & 22 Summer Sizzler miles from Buckroe Beach Park to the Days Inn Marine Beach at Willoughby Spit in Norfolk.
Willoughby Spit is about five miles from the previous location. We are now holding the event at the Days Inn Marine Beach, 1631 Bayville Street, Norfolk, VA 23503, Phone: 757-583-4521
The Days Inn is conveniently located off I-64 at the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, exit 272. http://www.the.daysinn.com/norfolk06863. Rooms are available at $89/night plus tax.
If you have hotel rooms at the previous location, the Days Inn is about five miles away, however, that five miles does include the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, which can have traffic issues. Race participants with hotel reservations can stay at their previous location, or cancel and change their reservation to the Days Inn. If you should change hotels, you are advised to do so by Tuesday evening.
