Mid winter ? Isn't 19 april rather Mid-Spring ? With spring starting and winter ending at 21 march.

Yeah, I know - 2 weeks after that is the first regatta in this part of the country.

But there'll be about a 45 degree F difference in the water temperature.

It's only about 3 weeks later than its usual date. The venue for the last couple of years was "rearranged" by Hurricane Ivan, so this is a completely new venue for us.

Matt - Good to hear that the date had been pushed back. This scheduling works very well for those who will be at the Tiger Worlds. Are you going to go and which boat would you pull from the quiver?

JB - Definitely the 16, since it'll count for qualifying towards the 2006 NA's (rumor - Puerto Rico - if Pedrin gets his act together)

Bad part about the date being pushed ahead is that Fluffy can't crew . To quote, "I've got a conference in Sarasota with my Euro smell buddies and I wouldn't give that up for either you or Kirk."

Well, that shows me where I rank.
