Congrats to the lady driver taking third!! Congrats and great sailing Susie! It's great to see the small sails really are competitive. I call dibs on crewing next year if I don't have my own boat haha.

All numbers under 976 were Nacra. 976 and above were Hobie's. There were no other types of cats at this event.

Matt

I think that the Nacra 569 was the newest at the event. My boat Nacra 930 had Ullman sails and the old style rudders. I recieved it in March 2005.

I can assure you that Murray on 964 was on a Nacra F18. I'm not sure about Palmer on 939 but I thought he was on a Nacra but I could be wrong.

I think it's great that both groups supported the event fully and that we got to really measure the boats against eachother. I sailed right next to Nacra's all week and I couldn't tell any advantage or disadvantage between the two boats. They seem to be very equal on all points of sail. It's an impressive formula. I did notice that the teams with the small sails tended to do better in the light air races. I have no idea if that was related to skipper ability or weight. My guess would be skipper ability.

Mike,

Mark Murray (964) was on a Tiger. Mark Harendeen chartered it from Scott Hubel who is a Tiger dealer.

Palmer is on a Tiger as well - he's one of our local S.C. guys.
