Where has the On The Wire Rudder Rake page - 08/31/06 04:33 PM

I am looking for the On The Wire web page that describes how to rake H16 rudders. I had seen the page before but I can no longer get to it from the links that I was using.

It looks like they're changing servers. You may be able to find what you need at http://www.west.net/~lpm/hobie/archives/ .

I believe the whole E-Zine was archived at: www.thebeachcats.com . I think you'll find all the technical/instructional articles there.

You could check the waybackmachine at

http://www.archive.org/web/web.php and run the links you used through there.

A Lesson to be Learned Here... - 09/01/06 02:34 AM

When you find the 'On the Wire' magazines, COPY all the articles that seem remotely useful. I copied every article on the Hobie 16 that would be useable to that boat, and put them in my files. These articles were of high quality and often had information that will NEVER go out-of-date. And its easier to open my file drawer that deal with the internet links.

I found the article using the waybackmachine.

Thanks!

Is this the article you meant?
It's titled "What's All This About Weather Helm?", written by Kim Miller of Australia, still a great reference to understand rudder rake and how it relates to weather helm.
