TBCSI Hangover Classic Regatta

This is a one day combination distance buoy race for all beach cats that depending on the weather goes about 50 miles for the big boats and about 25 miles for the high Portsmouth boats. It's a great way to start off the new year. Off the pristine waters of Dunedin Causeway Florida around Anclote and Three Rocker islands respectively, around a couple of buoys and back to hot chocolate and food. Oh yea, Champaign for the winners. We will try to make the course match the weather conditions. There are lots of options in this beautiful area.

Today the water was 60F and the air 78F winds from the south at 13+. Hope it holds. Tampa Bay Catamaran Sailors Inc. is the premier catamaran club of Florida. We just completed the Olympic Tornado Catamaran U.S. National Championship Regatta at the same place - Sail Honeymoon Dunedin Causeway.

Let us know if you are coming so the concession stand will be prepared.

Anybody looking for expirienced crew for this regatta? I haven't run a Spinnaker or Reacher though. I'm 145 lbs and have all my own gear. Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested.
