TBCSI Sailwave Seminar June, 25, 2005 - 06/17/05 08:58 AM

TBCSI Sailwave Seminar Saturday June 25, 2005

Here is a great opportunity for all the TBCSI Members to become familiar with the Sailwave scoring program. This computer program is the heart of the setting up and running a Regatta and the scoring process.

LJ (Linda Jo Nicholson) and Judy Fondrk are conducting the Sailwave Instructions Seminar at the Baywood Club House (see map http://www.tampabaycatsailors.com/maps.htm )

You can come early but the official start is 10:00 a.m. and expect to stay till mid afternoon.

Anyone who has a laptop please download Sailwave Version 1.57 at www.sailwave.com and bring your computer to share with others at the class. Judy made some great handouts for the class. With these handouts you will be able remember how to set up and run the program long after the course. There will be an easy sample race to use as practice.

There will be coffee and drinks and some muffins for refreshments.

John Hoopes and John Fondrk are going to go over what it takes to run a regatta with some helpful forms and aids to use.

This is a great learning experience for those that want to volunteer and for those who just want to know how a regatta happens.

Please let us know if you can attend. This will help us prepare properly. dartspeed@msn.com
