The US get's the 2012 Worlds - 07/12/10 05:21 PM

From John Williams:

Now for the big news. Our bid to host the 2012 Worlds at ABYC from September 7-15 was approved unanimously by the World Council. All the comments here about coverage need to get cleaned up and put into a media plan. Anyone who wants to roll up sleeves and pitch in, drop me a PM. Clock started yesterday. Let's show the world what we can do.

That is big news, nicely done. This is big for multihull sailing in the US and great for our class.

Yeah, can definitely learn a lot from this year's event regarding coverage.
