Does anybody know what changes/improvements we can expect for the 2011 AHPC C2?
I only heard that they will switch to Harken gear.

I'm planning several improvements; my finish position is the first one I'm working on. ;-)

AFAIK that is the only change.

One in my back yard would be a great improvement.

Hey Macca, I've read
somewhere that you were no longer part of team Nacra? You should update
your blog from time to time.

Kris and Pepin, please take it somewhere else.

Will let you know when ours comes in, as far as I know (which is little), options for harken blocks exist, as well as more options on"trim package" (i.e sail color / tramp color, etc). Don't think the boards have changed or anything drastic (again, don't quote me on any of that, but I'll let you know when I get my hands on the new boat in a month or so).

did I say something that tickled you off or something? I mean, there was no intend to raise a fuss or anything. I just read the news this morning that Macca was no longer in team Nacra and I'm just curious to know where he is going next...

The word straight from Fun in the Sun on the 2011 AHPC C2 models (thought I would ask instead of speculate ;-):
"AHPC has been in the 2011 model since last September, as such any boat delivered since are the 2011 model. Difference between in the C2 2010 and 2011 models are minimal, no hull or foil changes, but more options exist in rigging and accessories. Harken hardware has been slowly switch to standard, synthetic trap lines, as well as many other personalized options are available. Constant improvements are being made in rigging and layout based on user feedback.
To date we have delivered over 25 of this model, with 15 or so more being delivered in the next two months."
So yeah, guess they / we (full disclosure, I'm an AHPC rep) have been pushing them out the door pretty damn fast.
