NSW States &Top Gun Results

The weather today for the final three races is 10-15knots increasing to 20-30knots in the arvo <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Have had some good raceing.

Well what a regatta with good results for karma kat in divisional and overall results.
With Peter Nikitin making the big trek all the way up for Vic. for the states and Tim Shepard for the top gun there were sure to be a mozzie every where you looked.
With Peter and Ben Battling it out for first and second place and Cameron and myself battling for third and forth place and Karl and Alex fighting it out in the heavy weight division there were three races within the regatta.
On the first day there were 2 wins a piece between Peter and Ben but with Ben forgetting to sign on for the first race he ended up losing it promoting Cameron to 2nd and myself to third.
The first day didnt bring any luck to the 2 new mossie sailors when Alex on the sloop rigged cat lost one half of his bridle and Karl on a cat rigged mossie breaking part of his rudder stock. With knowledge of these incidents I went to what is now known as the mobile chandlery (my car) and found a spare bridle for the sloop rigged and lower stock mount for the cat rigged.
With the whole fleet of 6 back on the water for the 2nd day it was game on again with Peter, Ben, Cameron, Alex and myself battling on the start line. With the 30knots not coming everyone was forced to work hard up wind and even harder down wind.
At the end of the day everyone enjoyed themselves and was pleased with the competition around.
A BIG well done to Cameron who only finished the boat on the saturday just before racing started.
Also A Big congrats to Tim Shepherd who came 2nd in division 5 which where the F18's, A classes and the 2 F16and also coming 2nd overall in the Top Gun regatta.
He proved to alot of people out there this w/e that Mosquito aint an out of date boat.

Col Made his way down on the saturday and was lucky enough to go for a day out on a Taipan with an ex NSW mossie sailor Bob Wyers.

Big Thanks to Will for you efforts as we all had a great day thanks to you. My new tramp went well and I am happy with wire mounting but I need thicker wire it broke just before the last race making it an intersting race to finish on.
