Son of Mosquito Titles - 01/11/13 09:07 AM

Hi all,

for those of you who didn't experience the promised conditions at the Mossie Titles at Paynesville, talk to the "Son of Mosquito" confused sailors that where here the week after the Mossies for their titles.

They had 2 of the 3 days racing in perfect easterlies up to 18 knots cool , with one day blown out and one day shifty from the south like Mossies had frown .

It was great to catch up with some of the old Mossie sailors, particularly one from Sugar loaf, if anybody still talks to Bill tell him I have some photo's of him and Jed I can send him if he wants.

Cat Rigs where the big class 24 boats so just 2 boats up on Mossies, it was of course won by ex a Mossie sailor who won his last Mossie Nats Sloop Rigged at Paynesville in 99/2000, also won states cat rigged smile

Just goes to show if you want to win at "Son of Mossie" Nats, you need to do some time in Mossies grin.
