Great sailing at Eden - 02/18/13 08:57 AM

Hi all,

great weekend of sailing at Twofold Bay regatta, Eden NSW. cool

Wind was never below 8 knots mostly 10-15 knots and peaked at around 18 knots smile . Four races of 5 laps each, all completed in small swell. Spinnakers could even be carried on most reaches of the less than 45 degree triangles, awesome sailing. grin

Four Mossies (Joker spin, Immunity sloop, Karma Cat spin and Thrice Bitten spin) where joined by 2 x Hobie Tigers and 17's, plus F16 (Altered) and a mk 4 A class, mostly from Canberra, they where mostly still learning to handle their boats improving over the weekend, so the Mossies had a field day. wink

Immunity had a ranga take control in the last race and with out the dead weight of the old man on the back had a win, so rumour has it the son is looking for a lighter skipper. cry

I was kicking Matt's butt (as usual) cry then he tried to catch up and capsized sick in 3rd race and broke stuff so retired frown , then 4th race swapped on to Immunity as skipper and David showed him how to sail grin, so they did well wink.
