Introduction :

<br>Phill has indicated that both the Taipan 4.9 class and paper tiger class which contain boats of different material are found to have very equal racing. With a minimum weight in place the advantages of exotic materials is limited. We already have agreed upon allowing carbon mast which is the biggest issue. Now left are the spars, rigging, sails and what not.

<br>Should F16 HT allow the usage of all materials anywhere ?

<br>And give special attention to standing rigging (steel or spectra/dyneema)
