We have previously had problems with creaking hulls/ beam on our Carter plywood boat 1434, which have been somewhat solved by tightening the beam bolts on bigger washers.

But now our Boyer boat 1727 has started creaking, and it is getting worse. It is the rear beam on the port hull which is making the noise. I have checked the bolts, but they are tight to turn. (Maybe they could be glued?)

Does anyone have any experience with creaking hulls on Boyer boats?
