Saturday April 28,2007
Tampa Sailing Squadron
Ruskin, FL.
Your local Sea Scout's are in need of at
least 4 16'-18' catamarans plus there skippers.
This is a wonderful opportunity for some very kind cat sailors
to work with our local youth to help them
accomplish there merit badges in multi-hull training
and racing. The event will involve your time for the whole day.
Lunch will be provided.
Please email or call me for more details.
Thanks
Todd

I did this a couple of years ago over there. The kids were great. Not sure if I can do it this year but will pass the word for you. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I'd love to help ... but on short notice this date conflicts with the Melbourne Yacht Club race and the Alter Cup preperation of boats that I've committed to.

If you decide to move the date, give sufficient notice and you'll get quite a few of us to help out.

What Tback said.

Does this have to be done on the April 28th? I keep my boat at Gulfport Yacht Club. I'd be happy to help out at any of the regularly scheduled race days. They are the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

Sorry for the short notice. Unfourtnately this is
like a big jambore, tied to the Boy Scout's and on a set date.
Four boats and skippers are all we are going to need, but more would certainly be better.

If this is an annual event (tied to a bigger jamboree), perhaps you can announce next years date as soon as you know.

For any that think they will be able to come,
please contact below. I am out of here, gone
to Rick White's Cat School.

Where do you sail from in Ruskin? Is there a good beach launch? Is the water deep enough near shore or do you have to go far out into Tampa Bay?
