Small spectra/amsteel. Crystalline 3mm works well also. Keep an eye on the knots and any chafe points. I eye spliced some spectra on both ends on my 6.0 once I got the height of the pole correct... but some people like to have the option of adjusting it. I am using crystalline for the bridles on the HT because it makes tying/untying knots easier than if it were just spectra.

I think 14ft is the standard for 6.0 spin poles regardless of which spin you use

Vectran works well for it.

Todd,
the NE spinnakers ARE the little ones on a 6.0. Unless you are talking about putting one of those girley I 20 chutes on it.
Go big, go fast, and bring a spare mast.

The I20 kite works well, I got an old one from Trey to learn with and kept my NE (it was brand new really) for a big gun.

The core of crystalline is vectran.

I do recall someone in Miami Key-Largo on a 6.0 a few years back had a red "Spin-zilla" that had to have been bigger than some of the Corsair F24 spinnakers. The thing sucked the breeze off the course! I felt bad for the trimmer....

can't remember the size of the "worrell" style 6.0 spins but I think they were in the range of 450sqft. An I20 spin is 270 I think and the NE spin 350

The first chute Trey and I flew on the 6.0 was ginormous. We called it the purple people eater.

Sheeted all the way to the back beam and it was just so big you couldn't carry it high at all.

The red one I saw was sheeted all the way back there, too.

What's that, about a kabillion square meter spin?
