NOR here; http://www.mccraeyc.com.au/?Page=19040&MenuID=Regattas%2F11927%2F0%2F

Who's coming?

Hope there'll be plenty of Mozzie transoms for me to follow.

Be good to put some faces to the names.

Cheers

I will be down there with the family, from friday afternoon, it will be the first time for boat in salt water.

Dont forget the following fortnight at Loc sport Y.c training day on Saturday and Mosquitos with kites on Sunday, this was a great event when it was last held at Loc Sport 3 years ago. well worth the drive for the company and the competition.
Please note you dont need to run a kite to attend.

I'll be on deck at the club about 8.30 am on Sat. Will be good to meet you. Yes I am heading to Loch Sport. Booked a campsite a couple of months ago. Looking forward to learning lots. Judging by the Syd. results last weekend, there's some pretty good sailors down Gippsland way. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Cheers

Hey Rob
1806 was Cameron Wiklund from Palm Beach and you wouldnt believe it, that was the boat that I took to the Vic states this year.
We took your advice and we put a set of Boyer boards(I think) on it and the sail was a spare uk halsey sail which Ben had.
Over all it went very well.

Will be good to see a few picks of your new boat on the water and Im hoping to either get to the states or nationals or both if I can to see how my boat goes against the vic boats.

Nah that number was 1804
1806 was I think from nick building his boat. Would have to check with Ben on that one.

when you say that number was 1804, does that mean you have finished that boat or gone onto another project.

1806 is a half built boat in Harvy Bay Qld.
Pat the owner started building the boat then purchaced a cheap boyer(mk4?)A class.
And sold the sail thru this forum to me.
I haven't got around to changing the numbers to 1704 yet.
Pat is selling his wooden boat 1673 complete with the half built(1806) hulls for $2500 I think

Slammed a floating log after the storms and ripped the c/b casing out. You heard the story.
Talking with my uncle we might think about rebuilding 1804in a couple of weeks, dont know yet.

Sounds like another blown-out McRae regatta - same old story. Seen it before. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

For anyone interested.

Results here;
http://www.yachting.org.au/site/yachting/results/mccraeyc/2007/club/cat_classic2007/series.htm

4 races back to back yesterday, abandoned today.

Some excellent results for Mozzies <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> ,some Ok ones <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> and a sensationally poor one for myself <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />. On the brightside, I now know that my mast is 100% sealed (twice) and I needed a new tiller extension anyway <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
