Robi, isn't it a 500lbs winch on the helo?

The F16 could be hoisted via halyard <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Max weight on the hoist cable is 600lbs.

The boat does not fit into the helo <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Dave (Parker) I was watching you and Stew battle it out in the pass for 1/2 hour from Sand Key Park... i dont think either of you actually made any headway... but it was fun to watch... especailly since i was not caught in the outgoing tide like you!

One of you should post the 1design stuff over here. I'll bet most people never go there.

So all this drama is about getting the information on the 1design site over here? Whatever Pete.

Tiki,

There are quite a few distance races coming up where you can strut yer stuff. Miami Key Largo, Hogs Breath and the Mug Race. Bring it......
Ding is carrying the correct equipment.

Karl suggested Ding had an anatomical deficiency. I'm sure it was meant as a joke. I tried to continue the gag. Bad judgement on my part.

Distance racing doesn't appeal to me, just as porstmouth racing doesn't appeal to some others.

My " round Tortuga " remark was tongue in cheek. Such a trip would be very pleasant, if unremarkable, and quite safe, on my Tiki.

I find it interesting that Karl and Ding started this mess with posts on the f16 forum a week ago.

Ladies, you can dish it out, you just can't take it.

There is a Wharram Tiki 21 on EBay right now. It looks pretty good and it's cheap. You could buy yourself a cruising twin and have a fleet sail to Tortuga!

Are you freaking kidding me! You're playing the victim card? Make no mistake this is not about busting balls this is all about you getting bent because of the comments I made about censorship on the F16 forum.

Now if I have this completely wrong (it's happened from time to time), then you can't create a post that basically says: Can you guys bust Ding's balls for me because I've never done a distance race before.

That's as bad as Wouter posting a picture of an Alter Cup sailor then telling the world everything that's wrong with their boat trim. Now that takes balls!

So if you want to try again I'll prime the pump for you.

At the bridge I turned to Frank (my skipper) and said "I'm done", he said okay and we went home.

Karl's already used: "leave your balls at home today Nancy?" I know it's not that original but he was probably tired.

Its not like I haven't given you any ammunition either Pete. Confusing "anatomically" and "automatically" is pretty beat-down-worthy IMO.

If you don't(Can't) walk the walk then shut the trap and save some bandwidth.

In those conditions, knowing what is on the other side of the bridge, personal safety and protection of your equipment is the first priority. Ding's boat is not the only one that retired... err on the side of safety, then have another BUDLIGHT.

My post above was intended for the keyboard sailors not Ding or anyone else who took a whack at the snotty stuff.Discretion is the better part of valor, or something like that. The keyboard junkies seem to like to sling cr** places they've never been or have any intention of going.
Just wanted to clarify.
