In the NOR it says it is a Hobie Wave Points Regatta, but the IWCA has not designated it as one and probably won't unless it opens it up to our rules -- open & measured sails, no minumum weight, etc.

Key Largo, FL and Put-in-Bay, ... | I Know and that is why I didn't want anyone confused. IWCA (Intl Wave Class Assn) was formed long ago and has rules that are governed by the people that sail Waves. After the Waves were flourishing NAHCA finally recognized Waves and made an arbitrary class for them under NAHCA.
However, they don't recognize our class rules.
That is why I just wanted to clarify to Wave Sailors that this is not a sanctioned Wave event.
There is a National Series Championship for Waves and the first of which was the Tradewinds.
Others will be at the Spring Fever, Sandy Hook, NJ, Put-in-Bay, Ohio, Lake Eustis, FL and and unspecified site in Texas. Dates for most are TBA.
