How are our friends in central Florida, USA holding out with all the rain? Our beloved US Blade's are built in Titusville, FL. Upwards to 20+ inches of rain????

Matt, Gina, Terry, Seth - any updates?

On a comical note: Mike Borden and I are sailing 2-up at Juana's in a few weeks. I usually sail 1-up, so I figured I'd rig the boat 2-up this weekend to get all the parts in the right place. I had to pull out Matt's original rigging document from 2 years ago!!! It is supposed to be windy tomorrow(if no rain), so I'll push her around with my old 5.5/5.2 crew. We might even have a picture boat.

Don't worry Mike!!! We'll be ok (and fast)!!!!

im taking the cap out tomorrow from GYC. Should be fun!

As far as our region, nothing came through. I think less than an inch of rain fell and winds gusted to 25kts. Nothing crazy.

Local news said Melbourne got 25" of rain! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> That's just a short commute north to Titusville.

It'll be faster than my Hobie 18, that's for sure. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In Sebring we only got about 7-10" and the lake is coming up a bit, we are still way below where we should be, lake wise, but at least it's a good start. Some of that 26" up in Melborne may make it's way down here and add to the lake a little bit, I hope. I was driving home from Orlando yesterday in and out of big showeres, their drainage ponds were all very full, so maybe some of that water will make it's way south too.

Matt? Terry Back? Brian Karr? The Chuck? How did you guys make out?

I spent the week in Boston so I missed the entire tropical storm. I flew back on thursday and went to Titusville. Nothing especially bad ... limbs down ... water level in the river was up about 20" ... Nothing but a nice drenching as far as people told me.
