F18 sailors attending the National Championship in Pensacola Beach next month are invited to attend the annual class meeting at 7:00 PM (Central Time) on Tuesday, October 14th at the Pensacola Beach Yacht Club. There are no championship social events scheduled that evening - the club is normally closed that night, but PBYC has agreed to open just for us and they're providing a bartender. There will be a final agenda posted here soon; topics include final selection of 2009 and 2010 venues for the championship, a bid to host the F18 Worlds in 2012, measurement certification, a review of the rule changes for 2009, and the election of new class officers. Class business will be concluded very quickly so we can get to the fun stuff. There will be two special guests on hand to discuss F18 developments in Europe and Australia, and we'll hear from a US sailor recently returned from a European F18 campaign.

If you're at the event, then you've already paid your class dues and you're a voting member. PBYC has the best drink prices on the island. THREE special guest speakers. PBYC is directly across the street from the race site. Stumble on over - no excuses. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
