Re: What is wrong with this?

Answer.

It was blowing a steady 20 knots (avg. boat speed 20.3 knots) out of the SSE, the temperatures where 83-85°

AND I WAS THE ONLY CATAMARAN OUT SAILING AT SEBASTIAN INLET.

IRCA needs to live again.

1.The state park is in near perfect condition.

2.They have kept the non-motorized launch site.

3.There is trailer parking right across from the launch site.

4.They have installed a wooden railing along the rest of the beach.

5.There are NO MORE JET SKIES with pickups and trailers backed into the water.

6.The bay is still as perfect.

Every thing that made IRCA great, is now better ... except you are not there to enjoy it!

What is it going to take to rebirth our sailing club? Yes, you read that right ... OUR SAILING CLUB.

There are no dues.

IRCA was designed for you so you could just come out and sail with a group of your friends without the headaches of Roberts Rules of Order and the silly politics that come with them. There are no meetings, expect for a monthly sailing date.

So make it happen, let’s support the state and show them we appreciate their efforts for us. After all ... we asked for the renovations, and they succeeded at our request.

It was always the first Saturday of the month ... I vote we go sailing on July 6th to give all chance to be moth balls their catamarans. I would be happy to help anyone restore their boat.

So Sea Ya Real Soon.

P.S. ---- I will be there on 2 May 2009 ... it is someone’s B-day.

Welcome back, Chris. I hope IRCA has just been hibernating.

To All

IRCA is out of hibernation, as three hurricanes in 2004 sent all in our county into hiding, including the State Park.

But awake we are, and hoping that all in our area and beyond will come out, May 2, 2009 and then the first Saturday of the month there after and help support the States efforts and ours.

The water is just a green and smooth, the winds just as steady ... and smiles at the end of the day even bigger!

As I said what made IRCA good, is now even better.

Sea Ya Real Soon

Just reminder ... Come out sailing May 2 2009 at Sebastian Inlet State Park

from 1-95 take the Fellsmere/Sebastian Exit ( there are big brown signs that say "Sebastian Inlet State park)

take SR 512 to SR 510

take SR510 to SR A1A, turn left at light

go north to state park, enter by left turn off A1A before base of bridge

pay yer entry fee

head west ... can't miss it.

Sea ya real soon
