There is a small lake north of Calgary that used to be quite active. I did a seminar there and then went on to Edmonton to do another.., and both had a lot of boats.
Can't remember the names, except both had indian names.

I think that one was Sylvan Lake

The lakes we went to were Mameo and Wabamun.

I don't think that the A will find much in it's class in Alberta. Lake Newell near Brooks has a bunch of Hobie sailors but nothing in the spin cat ilk.

Wabamun and Mameo beach (Pigeon Lake) are both closer to Edmonton.

There use to be some A's in Alberta, but I lost touch with them. There was a one time a very large Unicorn fleet in Alberta, but they disappeared. Maybe my partner in crime will start a new trend.

Yeah, I know a couple of Unicorn sailors although I have a difficult time thinking of them as A class boats anymore.

The Unicorn was a fun boat, built 3 of them before switching over to the A Class. I don't think there are any left in Southern Ontario.
