I flew on a Freelancer mod (Asgard) for a looooong time. Most of my guys went to Eve but I hung it up. My PvP was never great and all the gankers out there just wore me out. All I wanted was to poke around and see the awesome coding, but every half hour or so there was another punk missile-spammer in my face.

Kinda hard to get ganked in high-sec unless you're in a hauler with lots of shiny bits in the cargo hold. Missiles are FTL now too so don't worry about them so much.
When was the last time you tried it?
This is the trailer to the latest expansion- Dominion. While they kinda fluff up the details, this doesn't stray from reality to much.

Good one Jeremy, so we need to get some company interested in coding "Waterwarz" The game where 133t sailing skillz let you earn linden dollars in 3d so you can buy missiles to finally blast those darn PWCs to davy jones' locker! Or just get them kids out on the water! (Our club has a very successful youth training program BTW) We have plans to launch a couple of into days where people can come for a sail for free. Should be fun!

Funny I didn't think anybody would be on EVE. When I'm not in a Worm Hole I am based in Poinen. Pulling out of the WH soon since it has been used much lately.
