Celebrate St Patrick's Day weekend on the water with Kirk and the Key Sailing guys and gals. Practice racing and new season tuning will take place on Friday, and buoy racing will run on Saturday and Sunday.

Paradise Inn, located next to the ferris wheel is offering us a regatta discount. Check out their web site, then call for your room. Be sure and telling them you want the group rate for the regatta, http://www.paradisebar-grill.com/ 850.932. 2319.

The Nor is located here: http://www.pensacolabeach-yc.org/Ev...21/ItemID/715/Default.aspx?ContainerSrc=[G]Containers/PENSACOLA_SKIN_1.6/container002

Enter by filling out the online form at http://www.pensacolabeach-yc.org/Racing/EntryForms.aspx

You can pay the fee when you check in, but if you sign up - show up.

Those of you that have missed this regatta in recent years, come back. The shirts will be super, there will be plenty of food and party, and we do usually have real breeze on for this Spring event.

Please have patience with the web links.

Regatta Update: Pensacola Beach Yacht Club and Key Sailing are working to host a memorable event this year by offering a Warm Up Clinic on Friday. This will include on the water starting practice, approaching the weather mark and offset marks for gains, hoisting, and close quarter boathandling. The starts and sets will be video taped for the de - brief once we get off the water. There will be an open panel chalk talk and video review at Key Sailing. Those of you that are coming into town on Thursday or Friday can jump in when you get your boats ready.

We will consider the electronic entry through PBYC (pay when you check in) or calling Kirk prior to March 1, as early registration. Ask him to put you on the list.

Category III or V personal flotation devices will be required.

Join us for a great time on the water and ashore!

Regatta Update II: US Sailing Judge, Charles Harp (Pensacola Yacht Club), will lead a discussion on how rule changes may alter the game at the weather mark, as a highlight of our clinic and de - brief on Friday evening.

We are about to order shirts, so you guys chime in.
