For those who are frustrated that their cats are in storage for the winter and won't be able to sail for a few months, how about the Phillipine Hobie Challenge. Check out their website at www.philhobie.com. 7 days of sailing from Boracay to Palawan, long distance in warm waters with fantastic stop over locations.

Following the success of the last challenge, preliminary plans have been posted on the website for the next philipine hobie challenge in 2005. Already over 20 crews have expressed interest and charter boats will be issued on a "first come first served" basis.

Scheduled for January 22-29, 2005, the event will span the last full moon before the Chinese new year.

Described by PHC5 winners Aaron Worrall, Andrew Keage and Sean Seibold, a.k.a. 'Team Australia' as "The most enjoyable Hobie event we've ever been to...we'll all certainly come back each and every year...it's the easiest event to attend."

For more information have a look at www.philhobie.com

Should be a great event!
