yeah...none of us on the 6.0 or our Team Seacats I20 (with all the gorgeous graphics!) either. I'm kinda glad they didn't get any of us on the 6.0 - most of them would have had an F14 right behind or us half sunk without drain plugs!

I wish the drain plug thing was a joke! I have never done that before - hope to not do it again! The funny part is after finally draining the hulls and frantically pushing off the island for our start that just went off, my crew looks at me and says "Dude! did you get my shoes?". I'm not sure exactly how that task fell within my responsibilities as skipper, but we looked back at the tiny little island to see a lonely pair of shoes getting smaller as we sailed away.
Shoes??? What sort of shoes, and why was it necessary to take them off to put the plugs in? I mean were you sunbaking over there or just running barefoot in the sand ? The mind boggles he he he It's amazing just how much a skipper is responsible for and it's one of the many reasons I sail single handed
Not a bad roll up at all considering. I get lots of inquiries but no commitments as yet. I think many people are too busy trying to pay off the mortgage to go sailing. Bern

I got on the boat barefoot each morning, 'cause it was easier to rinse off my feet on the way to the start line than to get the red mud out of the treads of my sailing shoes.
Nuthin like the feelin of red Georgia mud squeezing up between your toes!

After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.
