How stiff are the sides of the hobie hulls? I capsized mine last weekend and while I was trying to right it I noticed that there is some give in the hulls where I was standing. I am new to the boat. It is a 79 and I have injected the top of the forward hulls to fix delamination so I am concerned about the integrity of the hulls.

They should be stiff. By pressing with your hand you should not feel any softness. While standing on them you might see some mild dent. Try to avoid standing in the middle of the hulls - try to stand closer to the bottom of the hull and while walking on the hull (like trying to pivot the boat pointing in the wind) try walking on the lip (seam between deck and hull shell) of the hull.
