I learned that you're not supposed to sail backwards, college racing in Vangaurd 420s stinks, and to watch out for rigging flying at your face, or you might lose your eye (oh yes, there's def. a story).

you think 420's are bad, I raced Collegit FJ's for 3 years, which reminds, I learned FJ sailore can't be expected to move across your cat without falling and shattering your inspoection ports.

I also learned that cleverly placed duct tape will seal and 8" round hole effectively enough for a day sail.
