Mike,
Thank you for the comments. I agree that we are getting close and that the I20 is a good boat. The problem is in when you try to even the field abit. I still feel that 325 is low but, am trying to figure out a way to sell it. If I can I will. I wish we could bring it up a few pounds (10-15) so that it is percieved as a change by the other crowd. I do not agree with the notion that these extra pounds become a safety issue. I have single righted a 6.0 ( a much heavier beast) and feel that if you are prepared it is not an issue. There are alot of different systems such as the rightinf pole that is rigged on my boats. That take this arguement off the table. I actually am a proponent of this system and would like to see it as mandatory safety equipment on all cats. So if your crew got blown off the boat you could right it and sail back to them instead of seeing them float off into the sunset.
Mike, what are your thoughts on equaling out the fleet?
