After crewing in the Corsair Nationals on a F31Aft Cabin which I put the #3 on backwards I was wondering about which model is the best boat. I was especially impressed with the F25C for the way it hung in with the F31s. The F28s and F27s looked nice as well. The F24s were there in force as well. I took a few snaps and attached one.

It depends...

<br>Is your primary interest racing or cruising? If you race do you prefer to race one design or with a handicap.

<br>Do you sail in the open ocean or in areas with rough seas?
<br>
<br>How big is the primary area in which you sail?
<br>
<br>Do you plan to trailer the boat often?
<br>
<br>Finally- bigger boats tend to cost more.
<br>
<br>All that said we have an F31 (one of the older models without the rotating carbon fiber rig) and we love it . We are now spending our second season with our boat. The flexibility to put it on a trailer and tow it somewhere in a matter of days to a place that would take weeks or months to sail is great. The design of the boat never ceases to amaze me (I think that is common among all of farrier designs). We have not raced our boat yet but do plan to, racing is not our primary interest, just another way to have fun on the boat and enjoy some competition while learning how to sail better. In my opinion all of the boats are great in their own way, just get the one that suits what you want to do.
