Evening Folks:

Here in (the recently unfrozen) Midwest, it is almost time to put my rebuilt 1980s H-16 into the water for the first time this year.

Given that I will be pulling it up and down the beach a lot, I thought that I would add the regular rope lines with the clear plastic pipe covers at the front and the rear (outside the hull lip) of the boat.

Does anybody know the right locations to place the ropes so that the boat is properly balanced....and so I can use the rear rope as a place to lock my foot when I am all the way back on the rear of the hull trapped out?

Suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Paul

I would rather be sailing, than reading about sailing!

I'm not too sure about the handles in the front, but with regards to the handles at the back, have a look at the HobieCat forum...this link should help (if it opens).

http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1832&highlight=foot+straps

If it won't open, just enter the forums, and do a search in the hobie 16 section on foot straps.

Hope it helps
