Anyone interested in getting tips or asking questions about sailing Taipan 4.9s may wish to keep a look out for Glenn Ashby. He has left/is leaving Australia to take up a position with sailmaker Andrew Landenberger in Germany.
Glenn is the current Australian Taipan 4.9 champion and runner up in the World A-class championships at least once. (amongst other acheivements)
