Just saw the commercial for the new season of I Shouldn't Be Alive on Discovery Channel. The preview shows 2 guys sailing a catamaran and then being shipwrecked on an island. I looked at the listing online and it says that the two were on a fishing trip, not sure about the sailing part but it's worth checking out. Discovery channel, Friday at 9.

It was two guys on an overloaded H16 trying to cross the Sea of Cortez. No Radio, Phone, Flares, etc... One of the hulls cracked for being overloaded so they dumped their water supply. They ended up stranded on a desert isle after a squall came through and finished off the cat. They weren't found until 4 days later because the commercial fishermen were not on the water due to the Cinco De Mayo holidays. Most people only last 3 days without water. The worst part was the end. They said that the one guy still loves to sail but luckily he sails bigger boats now. No mention of the things they did wrong that might actually make the viewing audience think. That being said, it was very fortunate that they survived and came out of it OK.
