I'm going to Boga, as my sister-in-law is getting married easter Saturday at Warracknabeal. I have been directed to attend. I'll have to miss the Saturday afternoon race but at least I'll get to do some sailing.

Lake Bonney Yacht Club, Riverland South Australia are holding an Easter regatta, 1 race Saturday, 2 Sunday, all welcome. Will have our usual mixed fleet including 4 local mossies & several visitors from Adelaide- the more the merrier if you are headed this way.

Cheers

Andrew

Col,

Too bad you have to attend the wedding . Can't you get out of it or attend in your wetsuit ?

Somers has a 3 day series with a possible 8 club Mozzies competing in a club handicap series and a veteran (over 50 years young)trophy series. Hope the weather holds up. It may be much kinder inland.

I was going to sail at Barmera, but one of the Christies sailors has just purchased a Mosquito and is sailing at the Milang Easter regatta, so thats is were I am headed now. A couple of other Mosquitos too as well as the usual assortment of cats.

The info below is from our local mailing list.

I'd like to start a new forum topic, which I've done before, but whenever I click the post button it tells me I only have read permission. Can anyone enlighten me.

Nick.
PS. The forum topic will be regarding downwind sailing of a mosquito. I just can't seem to pick the right angle and got blown away downwind in an all boats regatta.

Nick,

I had the same trouble with write access when I first started using the forum. You have to login at the top bar of the screen. Then you will have write access. If you have lost your password then you simply submit for a new one by following the prompts and you will get a new password in a matter of minutes.

Hope to see you on line very shortly .

Regards,

Peter

The permissions box says that I can start new topics so I am logged on.

Does anyone else have trouble with the forum not keeping track of discussions that are being updated. Every window throughout the forum needs to be refreshed everytime I go to it to see the new topics or replies.

Thanks anyway.

Nick.

Might this be part of your problem?

I sometimes have trouble with the number of read/unread messages, there seems to be a bug there, or the cookie expires /grows too large. There is also a +1 bug when calculating new messages, but it's no big deal really. I usually check the dates for the last posting, and now roughly when I read the forum last.
If you use internet explorer, its default settings shuld be changed from "Check Automatically" to "Check every time" under "tools" -> "internet options" -> "general" -> "settings" (look under "Temporary internet files")
